What’s On Your Mind?
Jesus told His disciples, “If you have faith in God and you don’t doubt, you can tell this mountain to get up and jump into the sea, and it will. Everything you ask for in prayer will be yours, if you only have faith.” Mark 11:23, 24, CEV.
I’m amazed at what Facebook did to our lives. It changed how we connect to our friends and our loved ones. It changed how we farm our lands, how we deal with mafias, how we play poker and a lot more but more than any of that it also changed us.
In the democratic world of Facebook, you can say anything, anything you wanted to say. There is this little box on your profile that asks you to type-in what’s on your mind. There is where you “shout out” what you feel about someone and about yourself. To most of the time we use that little box to express ourselves, about what we feel and how we see things are going. More than our status that box is our “declaration box” it’s our “confession box”. Friends, be careful with what you say because your words create your reality. What you say is what you will become.
Speak Words of Faith
In Biblical thinking, words aren’t just sounds or noise. Words are imbued with God’s creative power. In the book of Genesis, the Bible said that God created the world by His words. He didn’t created light by mixing up stuff with His hands. He simply said, “Let there be light” and there was light. In fact John said that, “From the very beginning the Word was with God and was truly God. And with this Word, God crated all things. Nothing was made without the Word.” And we are given that same power of the word, because we were made in God’s image and likeness. Words are powerful it make things happen! Speak words of faith.
I Can Hear the Sound, the Sound of the Abundance of Rain
In the Bible there was a prophet named Elijah who one day went to King Ahab and said, “I’m a servant of the living Lord, the God of Israel. And I swear in His name that it won’t rain until I say so. There won’t even be any dew on the ground.”
So for three years no rain fell in Samaria and there was almost nothing to eat anywhere. But one day Elijah told Ahab, “Get something to eat and drink. I hear a heavy rain coming.”
But was there actually rain? None, not a drop; in fact there was not a single cloud in the sky neither a hint of any downpour.
That was when Elijah prayed very hard. He climbed back to the top of Mt. Carmel stooped down with his face almost in the ground and prayed. Then he asked his servant to look towards the sea and when the servant came back he said to Elijah that he didn’t see anything. He asked his servant to check on the sky seven more times.
Anything Big Comes From Something Small
After the seventh time the servant replied, “I see a small cloud coming this way. But it’s no bigger than a fist.” Elijah then told his servant, “Tell Ahab to get his chariot ready and start home now. Otherwise the rain will stop him.”
That’s words of faith. Declaring rain amidst of uncertainties, declaring success amidst of failures and indeed, it got very cloudy and windy, and rain started pouring down.
Declare Abundance into Your Life
You have a choice. You can say, “There’s not a cloud in the sky” or you can say, “I hear the sound of the abundance of rain.”
Perhaps today you feel tired. But you can declare, “I maybe tired and weary now but God will surely give me rest. He will let me lie on green pastures and will lead me to streams of peaceful waters. God will refresh my life.”
Perhaps today you feel the pressure of your financial situation. But you can declare, “I maybe experiencing some drought in my finances now but God will surely provide. I will not worry. I’ll seek Him first and believe that all things shall be added unto me. God will bless all the works of my hands with great success.”
Perhaps today you feel sick. But you can declare, “I may not be feeling well now but God is on the move healing me. No one heals better than Him; He heals the soul and the body, from the inside out. He is my healer and my rebuilder. To Him I offer my life.”
Like Elijah, you need to hear the sound of the heavy rain even when there’s not a cloud in the sky. You need to hear the heavy rain of blessings and increase into your life amidst of the situation, even when you don’t see anything yet. Declare words of faith! Use your words not to describe you reality but to create your desired reality.
One Last Thing, Talk to Your Mountains
In the Bible Jesus said something incredible about faith words. In Mark 11:23, 24, Jesus told His disciples, “If you have faith in God and you don’t doubt, you can tell this mountain to get up and jump into the sea, and it will. Everything you ask for in prayer will be yours, if you only have faith.”
Friends, what’s your mountain? It could be your health, your finances. It may be your broken relationship. Don’t just pray for the mountain. Don’t just talk about the mountain. Instead, speak to the mountain. Because your words are powerful, it can create your desired reality.
Now let me ask you again, what’s on your mind?

I encourage you to take five minutes of your time everyday declaring Faith Words. I do this every morning. The first thing I do after I open my eyes, with a smile on my face I prays, "The Feast Declaration of Abundance", see below:
Today, I receive all of God’s love for me. Today, I open myself to the unbounded, limitless, overflowing abundance of God’s universe. Today, I open myself to Your blessings, healing and miracles. Today, I open myself to God’s Word so that I become more like Jesus everyday. Today I proclaim that I’m God’s beloved, I’m God’s servant, I’m God’s powerful champion, and because I am blessed I will bless the world in Jesus name, Amen!

Be careful with what you say because your words create your reality. What you say is what you will become. What have you been telling yourself lately? What have you been telling the world about yourself lately? Failure, loser, ugly, unwanted, unforgivable, weak or winner, champion, beautiful, grateful or whatever it is, what you say is what you will become. Thus, if you say you are a failure then you will become a failure. If you say you are successful, then you will become successful. Because your words create your reality!
